CyGOS Transforming Electrical Fixtures into Security Systems for Challenging Environements
Engineering a CyGOS™ Security System for your Challenging Environment

Our Value Engineering Process creates a unique methodology, specifically based on military procedure MIL-STD-490A, that ensures a smooth, efficient and fast process to reduce implementation time. Less time wasted, fewer problems encountered & a more efficient methodology also add up to more cost savings for you.

Did you know that 60 to 70% of engineering projects fail because of issues relating to process - the inability to coordinate different teams or reconcile different business interests or respond effectively to unforeseen technical difficulties? Without an adequate process in place to respond to unexpected difficulties or miscommunications, projects can get lost, sidetracked, stalled or, worst of all, simply fail to meet the necessary requirements.

DESIGNING YOUR SECURITY SYSTEM- a 4-Step process

Step 1- Requirements Analysis

Working together with your staff, we Understand and analyze your surveillance needs for the different sections of the facility

Step 2-
On-Site Characterization

After we fully understand your pain points we perform these remaining tasks in order to create and deliver a "Requirements Document" for your approval:

  • Evaluate all of the existing light fixtures in the appropriate sections of the facility for their physical location as well as each light fixture’s ability to embed our CyGOS Surveillance Node
  • Determine the required field of view and the desired resolution to select an appropriate lens for each Surveillance Nodes
  • Characterize the existing electrical wiring for it potential to get transformed into a reliable CyGOS Self Organizing Network (SON) for communicating surveillance and control data across the distance. When possible customer will provide their Electrician to support this task
  • Define third-party software/ system interfacing requirements
  • Requirements review and Approval by the customer

Step 3- CyGOS Customization

Cyber Group Designs and Architects a CyGOS Surveillance Node structure (the building blocks) that satisfies the surveillance requirements as well as conforms to the inherent physical and electrical constraints present in the facility. The design details are document as the "System Specification" and delivered to you for approval. This task entails the following:

  • Optical Modeling for desired coverage by each Surveillance Node- Lens Selection and documenting expected coverage
  • Designing an optimum configuration of the CyGOS Self Organizing Network conforming to the existing electrical power wiring
  • Conduct a Critical Design Review (CDR) for customer and customer's electrician approval
  • Design and build the sensor mounting hardware for each of the electrical fixtures to be retrofitted with a surveillance node
  • Design and implement any Software customizations or third-party software/ system interface.
  • Integrate and test the customized CyGOS system in the Laboratory to facilitate easy installation on the site.

Step 4- Site Installation, System Integration & Go Live

Your customized CyGOS will be installed at the facility in cooperation the the staff and your certified electrician. This task will entail the following:

  • Hardware Installation-
  • a. The appropriate electrical fixtures will be retrofitted under the supervision of customer's electrician to embed CyGOS Surveillance Nodes
    b. Connect CyGOS Receivers to customer provided PC to run CyGOS Server
  • Install CyGOS Server Software
  • a. Integrate and test CyGOS System operation with third-party systems
    b. Train Customer Team
    c. Site Goes Live with the CyGOS system
